The 74 Eagles represents the 74 years Virgie Middle School and High School proudly served our community, spanning from 1939 to 2013. It symbolizes the 74 graduating classes that walked its halls and the countless memories made on its grounds.

Today, we’re embarking on an exciting journey to restore and revitalize the Virgie High School grounds, breathing new life into its historic spaces. This ambitious project includes:

The High School Building: Preserving its legacy for future generations.

The Gym: For major sporting and entertainment and events. There will be a weekly night for local community basketball.
* 74Eagles hopes to restore the Virgie Little League Basketball Program for both boys and girls.

The Pool: Reopening March/April 2025.

The Band Room: Restoring a space for an event space, family reunions, meeting space, weddings, holiday parties, etc.

This effort will be completed little by little, with your support helping to expedite the process. Every donation, no matter the size, brings us closer to realizing this vision of turning Virgie High School into a vibrant community hub once again.
